Faraday road plaza re-generation gets go-ahead!

The redesing of part of the Farady Road industrial estate comes closer, on wednesday(21st) as councillers voted to give it planning permission.

The proposed development will include a 100 room hotel together with 70,000 square feet of modern grad A office accoimmodation, residential housing, restauranrs and community retail outlets.

It is envisaged that the finishes development will be valued in exess of £60m. The development site comprises of over 3 acres and will regenerate a large part of under used and derelict area which lies between the A339 trunk road and Faraday Road.

The sceme will also include a new junction at Kelvin Road coming off the A339.
