More salt arrives for West Berkshire

Stocks of salt-grit in West Berkshire have been given a boost this afternoon, with the arrival of more from other authorities.

Through an agreement of mutual aid, councils such as Medway and others across the country which have some to spare, have supplied a top-up to West Berkshire.

The District now has enough for a grit run going out late afternoon today (Friday 6th Feb) on the primary road network, and another grit run for both Saturday and Sunday, again on the primary network.
