The evening will involve a 'Question Time' style session with a panel of local business leaders. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities for company representatives to meet each other and share information on 'green' business practices.
It is hoped the event will help to improve businesses' energy efficiency and recycling levels as well as promoting local food generation and bio-diversity.
A broad range of industries and sectors are expected to take part and a number of environmentally-friendly organisations including The Carbon Trust, Ecotricity and Envirowise will be exhibiting during the evening.
Graham Pask, Chairman of the West Berkshire Partnership Greener Sub-Partnership, said: "We are keen to understand the changes that businesses face in becoming more environmentally friendly and I am sure that this event, by bringing people together, will go a long way to finding some solutions."
The event is being held at the Regency Park Hotel in Thatcham on Thursday 19th March between 5.15pm and 9.45pm. Companies wishing to attend are asked to book a place in advance by sending an email towbgbn@tiscali.co.uk
