- Park Way work is going well.
- Northbrook Street is CLOSED for 10 weeks(4 weeks of full closure) the remaining 6 weeks will have temporary traffic lights up.
- Market/ cheat street is still CLOSED eastbound.
- Work has started on the Sainsbury's extension. Demolition work has started , work to construct the new car park deck. A new temporary entrance opened today(30th). After the car park is finished work will start on the extension.
- Newbury Library has had self service systems & other works done
- Pay & Display has been installed at Newbury Station
- Due to the closure of Northbrook Street buses will run the normal route, then up the A339, and stop at the Post office & Bus Station. On the return Journey the Bus will leave the Bus Station through the Bartholemew Street Bollards to the Iceland bus stop, turn right into the market place, turn left towards the sainsbury's roundbout, then left on to the A339 towards the Robin Hood Roundabout & then the normal route the bus takes.
- Also from 20th April there will be changes to the bus service(see earlier post for details)
- 5 Permanent bolladrds have been installed next to Llodds TSB to stop traffic turning down the road next to Llodds TSB.
