The event aims to offer an opportunity for landlords and letting agents to share experiences. It also gives the Council a chance to give updates on housing legislation and new initiatives.
There will be a number of presentations on a range of aspects of the industry including the rights and responsibilities of tenants and landlords, as well as a question and answer session.
Several Council departments will have exhibits and will be available for landlords to talk to, as well as The Crime Reduction Team from Thames Valley Police and the United Sustainable Energy Agency.
Alan Law, West Berkshire Executive Councillor for Planning and Housing said: "I hope that as many landlords and letting agents as possible will attend our first forum. It is a great opportunity for everyone involved in private housing to discuss ideas together."
If you would like more information about the Forum, or would like to attend, please contact Alison Reilly, Private Sector Housing Officer on tel: (01635) 519363 or email areilly@westberks.gov.uk
