Leading architects Architype have been carrying out a feasibility study of proposals to replace the current school buildings and now there is an opportunity for residents to have their say.
The existing school building dates from the 1950s and the possibility of a new purpose-built facility is now being explored as part of the Council's commitment to Primary School capital investment as set out in the Primary Strategy for Change.
Barbara Alexander, West Berkshire Executive Councillor for Children and Young People said: "It is important to get the views of the local community on this exciting project. We still have a long way to go but it will be useful to find out what residents think about the proposals so far. A new building will allow The Winchcombe School to improve even further following their recent promising Ofsted inspection."
