Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted following an altercation in High Street, Thatcham, on Sunday (08/03).

Sometime between 12am and 12.45am on Sunday there was an altercation between a man and a woman in Thatcham Kebabs, which continued into the street. There, the woman was pushed against a car.

The occupants of the vehicle intervened and the 27-year-old woman from the vehicle received a cut to her forehead and swelling to her left eye.

Notes to Editors;

A 20 year-old man from Slough, a 17-year-old boy from Thatcham and a 17-year-old girl from Thatcham, have been arrested in connection with this incident and have been released on police bail to return to Newbury Police Station on Saturday 25 April.
